American singer and songwriter Stevie Nicks (born Stephanie Lynn Nicks), is famed for her mystical chanteuse image. She enjoyed massive success as the vocalist of British blues band Fleetwood Mac, but also as a solo artist.
While still performing with Fleetwood Mac, Nicks chose to also start a solo career, so in 1981 she released her first solo album “Bella Donna” that has reached multiplatinum status and became number one on the US Billboard charts. Nicks remarkable career brought her eight Grammy Awards and in 1998 she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Throughout the years, Stevie kept journals to record her memories, but only the fantastic ones. She hopes that her goddaughters and niece will read them one day and “smell the gardenia perfume on the pages”.
