Here's Why Apple CEO Tim Cook's Daily Routine Includes Waking Up Before 4 a.m.

Tim Cook is a successful, rather busy guy. It makes sense the Apple CEO would have to start his day pretty early. In fact, he recently gave an interview to Axios, in which shares he gets up VERY early: As in 4 a.m.! “I like to take the first hour and go through user comments and things like this that sort of focus on the external people that are so important to us,” he said in the interview, saying that is his way of starting the day by relating to customers and understanding what they are looking for (and not looking for!) Optimizing his mornings So we get it. It makes sense why he’s making this be how he starts his day, but does he have to do it at 4 am? And around 5 a.m. he’ll get in a workout. “Then I go to the gym and work out for an hour because it keeps my stress at bay,” Cook said. After that, he gets a coffee and starts his day. It’s pretty well known that very successful people tend to start their day early. We wonder, though, if they start their day early and also go to bed early? Or do they all need less sleep than we do? Tim Cook isn't the only leader with an intense morning routine. Take Mark Wahlberg, for example. The Hollywood star recently revealed in an Instagram Story that he starts his day even earlier -- at 2 a.m. Jeff Bezos has also admitted to getting an early start to his days -- though he chooses to wake up naturally, without an alarm.
