18 The Little Prince Quotes to Remind you of your Childhood

The Little Prince is an all-time favorite children book. Written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the novella has been translated into an incredible 300 languages and dialects and has become one of the best-selling books in publishing history.

In this lovely tale, the narrator (a pilot) first talks about his disappointment with the world of adults. They seem to have little imagination and he has had no one he could really talk to about what mattered to him.

One day, after being forced to land in the desert, he meets a little boy who asks him to draw a sheep. Surprised at first, the pilot agrees to do it and thus they become good friends. I won’t tell you the rest of the story since The Little Prince is a book you need to read no matter how old you are.

Adored by children and adults as well, The Little Prince criticizes grown-ups' points of view and habits, insisting that children are the ones who actually appreciate the important things in life since they are able to see with their hearts, not just with their eyes.

Here are 18 The Little Prince quotes that will take you back to your childhood.
