Is Elon Musk the Father of Oonagh Page Heard? Why Amber Heard Raises Her Daughter in Secrecy

Amber Heard welcomed baby girl Oonagh Paige via surrogacy in April 2021. But the actress's relationship with her daughter did not start off as beautifully as it was supposed to.

The 37-year-old actress had a controversial relationship with ex-husband Johnny Depp— which took over worldwide headlines in June of 2022.

Depp sued Heard for $50 million in damages in the wake of her personal essay: I Spoke Up Against Sexual Violence.

Though the essay (published in The Washington Post) never mentioned Depp by name, the Pirates of the Caribbean star sued Amber Heard for defamation, and the wall-to-wall courtroom coverage transformed the narrative in Depp's favor.

In the final days of her testimony, Heard spoke out about Oonagh Paige for the first time, telling the court: "I want to move on with my life. I have a baby. I [need] to move on. I want to move on, and I want Johnny to move on too."

The internet (and ultimately the jury) sided with Depp and concluded the A-list actor would be awarded $10.5 million dollars from his ex-wife Amber Heard, effectively bankrupting her.

Depp's Craziest Allegation

As the real-life courtroom drama unfolded, Amber Heard was the subject of countless memes mocking her testimony, and Depp was awarded the trending hashtag #justiceforjohnny.

The trial was divisive, with Depp's legal team bringing several shocking allegations to light.

Depp argued he was the victim of domestic abuse, claiming Heard would physically assault him on multiple occasions and in one particularly memorable moment of his testimony---claimed after an argument, Amber Heard defecated in his bed (which Heard countered was a "horrible practical joke gone wrong.")

But out of the allegations exchanged back and forth, there was one particular issue that was inconclusive...

Who was the father of Amber Heard's baby girl, Oonagh Paige Heard, and why was Heard keeping his identity a secret?

Who is Oonagh Paige Heard?

In July 2021, after keeping Oonagh Paige Heard's birth a secret for three months, Amber Heard broke her silence on her newfound motherhood in an Instagram post.

At the time of Oonagh's birth, Amber Heard---who had been previously linked to A-listers like Depp, Elon Musk, James Franco, and Cara Delevigne---was reportedly dating cinematographer Bianca Butti, but the couple went their separate ways in December 2021.

Amber Heard welcomed her daughter via surrogacy (amid speculation Heard was unable to carry and conceive) but the actress was notably tight-lipped on who Oonagh's paternal father was.

While some speculated, Heard probably just opted for an anonymous sperm donor.

Some fans have a different theory...

Amber Heard's Secret Relationship With Elon Musk

Elon Musk is no newcomer to fatherhood.

At 52 years old, the billionaire Tesla Co-Founder is the father of 10 children, to 3 different mothers.

Is it possible Oonagh Paige Heard could be his secret 11th child?

Over the years, Musk has become infamous for his complicated romantic affairs.

Fans were shocked when Musk went public with Heard in 2016 just as her divorce was finalized with Depp.

Musk alleges he was never romantic with Heard while she was still with Depp, telling Page Six "Amber and I only started going out about a month after her divorce filing. I don’t think I was ever even in the vicinity of Amber during their marriage!"

Be that as it may, Johnny Depp tells a different story...

According to Johnny Depp, Amber Heard Was Cheating On Him With Elon Musk

In his defamation lawsuit in March 2019, Depp's legal documents accused Heard of cheating on him with Musk— one month after he and Heard were married.

“Unbeknownst to Mr. Depp, no later than one month after his marriage to Ms. Heard, she was spending time in a new relationship with Tesla and Space X founder, Elon Musk. Only one calendar month after Mr. Depp and Ms. Heard were married—while Mr. Depp was out of the country, filming in March 2015—Eastern Columbia Building personnel testified that Ms. Heard received Musk ‘late at night’ at Mr. Depp’s penthouse. Specifically, Ms. Heard asked staff at the Eastern Columbia Building to give her ‘friend Elon’ access to the building’s parking garage and the penthouse elevator ‘late at night,’ and they testified that they did so. Building staff would then see Ms. Heard’s ‘friend Elon’ leaving the building the next morning.”

While Amber's fans were quick to jump to her defense, a series of texts revealed at the 2020 court hearing, between Heard and Musk told another story.

The Texts Between Amber Heard and Elon Musk

In their exchange, Heard told Musk that she wanted a restraining order against Depp for an alleged domestic violence incident. Musk responded by protectively offering Heard "utterly confidential" "24/7 security".

Musk goes on to cryptically tell Heard, "sorry for being an idiot. The radio silence hurts a lot. It only matters because I really like you."

But these impassioned exchanges were only the beginning for Heard and Musk. Their hot and cold behavior foreshadowed what was to come.

The couple went public with their relationship in 2016 and mysteriously broke up in 2017 due to "scheduling conflicts."

Four years later, the actress welcomed baby Oonagh Paige Heard into the world...which ordinarily would seem like a decision independent from ex-Elon Musk, had Amber Heard not explicitly written something in her birth announcement fans flagged as suspicious.

"I'm so excited to share this news with you," she wrote. "Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms."

It wasn't hard to do the math. Four years ago, Heard was still dating Elon Musk.

Musk's Alleged Legal Battle Over Amber Heard's Embryos

While some fans speculated the paternity results could name famous exes Johnny Depp or James Franco as the Oonagh's father, these theories didn't seem to hold much merit.

When Jennifer Howell—a source close to the family— gave a sworn testimony about Elon Musk's involvement, fans' theories became more fully formed.

In the legal documents, Howell swears that Amber Heard was in a secret legal battle with Elon Musk over the frozen embryos— which they had created together.

"[Amber's mother] shared with me...Elon Musk had gifted a Tesla...but Amber found out they were ‘bugged'...Amber said Elon was controlling, abusive, and that she was in a legal battle with him over the rights to embryos that they had created together

- Jennifer Howell, (friend of the Heard Family)

Curiously, Howell's claims were never confirmed nor denied by either Musk or Heard.

While Heard's silence is understandable, as recently we've seen an uptick in single-parent celebrities opting out of disclosing their child's biological origins (see: Mindy Kaling), the same cannot be said for Musk.

Musk, who has had a historically vocal presence on social media has even gone so far as to acquire Twitter for $44 B in order to reinstate the platform to its former "free-speech" glory. The richest man in the world has declined to disprove or even comment on the theories that he was the paternal father of Amber Heard's baby, Oonagh Paige...leaving fans to wonder, could it be true?

Only Amber Heard Knows The Truth...And She Wants To Keep It That Way.

While there are still so many questions unanswered, one thing is for certain...Amber Heard wants to put her daughter Oonagh Paige Heard first.

Since settling in court with Depp, the Aquaman actress has kept an incredibly low-key profile, signaling to fans that she really meant it when she said she wanted to move on with her life.

In her final public statement following the trial, Heard concluded in light of the verdict she "made a very difficult decision to settle the defamation case".

Heard went on to say she "never chose this", and illustrated the ways in which to appeal the case would not only bankrupt her, "but exposed her to a type of humiliation [she] simply cannot re-live".

Whether or not you believe Amber Heard will change the way you interpret her statements.

Victims of domestic violence (who may see themselves in Heard) will feel the crushing weight of her loss.

Victims of slander or defamation, who may see themselves in Johnny Depp will draw their own parallels of justice being served---but whatever "team" you may find yourself on there is one point Heard makes that is indisputable:

"Time is precious and I want to spend my time productively and purposefully".

- Amber Heard

It seems if nothing else, Heard is dedicated to putting her duties as Oonagh's sole legal parent, first.

Since stepping out of the public eye, Heard has (maybe for the first time in her career) not been linked to anyone romantically. It has been reported, Heard also moved to Madrid in order to raise Oonagh Paige and live a more private life.

In her birth announcement she says of Oonagh "She is the beginning of the rest of my life", and as far as we can tell, she really means it.
