Gal Gadot Married Jaron Versano 15 Years AgoThe Truth Behind the Man Who Stole Wonder Womans Heart
Now living in Hollywood, the two share three young daughters, a film & TV production company, and an exciting future in Hollywood!
Gal Gadot: Power. Grace. Wisdom. Wonder. A woman that embraces all four of the Wonder Woman taglines. So it would have to be an equally formidable man that Gal Gadot married. Enter Jaron "Yaron" Varsano.
If you were to ask Gal Gadot, she’ll quickly tell you she felt an instant connection upon meeting Jaron Varsano. It was so instant that she didn't hesitate when he proposed less than a year later.
These two have been relationship goals since day one.
Who Did Gal Gadot Marry? What Is Jaron Varsano?
While Gadot is a superhero in every sense of the word, her real-life husband can hold his own. Businessman, real estate developer, and hotel owner are just a few of the titles on an impressive resume.
Born in the Netherlands in 1975 (making him 10 years Gadot's senior), Varsano spent most of his childhood in Europe but later immigrated to New York to attend University.
He began to build his real estate development firm shortly after graduation. But soon after Varsano and Gadot were married (and pregnant with their second child!) Varsano sold off his entire portfolio to follow Gadot to Hollywood.
Gal Gadot's husband is focused more on the entertainment side of business these days, producing and developing movies. But he remains the Israeli actress' biggest support system and ultimate cheerleader and is often seen on the red carpet.
Gadot and Varsano Met at an Israeli Desert Party
The Israeli-born actress who would one day be instantly recognized around the world as Wonder Woman met her fellow countryman and future spouse back in 2006 at what she has described as a "chakra/yoga retreat type of party" in the Israeli desert. The strange party opened the doors to a 15 year marriage (and love story!)
"He was too cool for school. Like, we were in the same group of friends, but I didn't know him and he didn't know me.”

But apparently just a few minutes of conversation were enough to intrigue the former Miss Israel (in 2004, when she was 18), who claimed that “something happened kind of from the first moment we started talking,"
"When we got home, I was like, 'Is this too early to call you? I want to have a date,'" Gal clearly recalls.
Gal Gadot & Jaron Met in 2006 and Were Married by 2008
Varsano was equally enamored, having said that both Gal and he were at a stage in their lives where excitement grows at the realization of true love and the dawn of a new relationship.
"We started talking at 10 p.m., and we kissed at sunrise and we held hands on the drive back to Tel Aviv,” then-real estate developer Varsano happily remembers of that vital early encounter. “At that moment, we were just glued together. It was beautiful."
Needless to say, Gal and Jaron began dating exclusively and went on to marry in 2008. Fast-forward to today and the situation has changed—and grown!—into something completely different.
Big Changes Came in 2017 When They Moved to L.A.
Gadot made substantial inroads in her Hollywood acting career over the years prior to their transatlantic move, with a slew of supporting roles in such films as Date Night, Knight and Day and three entries in the wildly popular Fast & Furious franchise.
Clearly, the time had come for her to be based in Tinsel Town—at least for a while—particularly as she had just completed her first big-screen appearance as the iconic role of Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
And there would be much more of her to come in the self-titled box office smash Wonder Woman, followed by Justice League, Wonder Woman 1984 and Zach Snyder’s Justice League. Add to that Gal’s more recent appearances in the Agatha Christie adaptation Death on the Nile and the action-adventure Red Notice, along with the upcoming spy thriller Heart of Stone and a live-action Snow White, and it’s clear that Los Angeles was and is the place for Gal to be right now!
"I didn't like it at all. It felt like everyone was in the industry. The waitress is an actress, the guy at the gas station is a producer."
But it wasn't an easy move. Gadot found Los Angeles overwhelming and initially didn't like the city. It wasn't until she found friends and a community of her own that she truly felt at home.
Gal Gadot's husband was by her side at every moment, allowing the actress to pursue her dream and make the logistics of it work.
How Many Children Do Gal Gadot and Yaron Varsano Have?
The happy couple welcomed three girls to their family over the years! The sweet family includes daughters Alma,11, Maya, five, and Daniella, one, all of which have been called Gadot's mini-mes! The family of five is often featured on Gadot's Instagram, in smiling pics and sentimental posts that showcase the love (and silliness) between them.
No word yet on whether they plan to expand their brood. For now, Gadot says they are enjoying the time they have.
Gal & Jaron Co-own a Film & TV Production Company Together
It's not all acting! These two entrepreneurs began their very own television and film production company, Pilot Wave Motion Pictures. The jointly owned company is currently in development mode on three biopics of historical figures, all of which are set to star Gal. Of course.
The biggest of the bunch is Cleopatra, a big-screen feature about the ancient Egyptian queen, followed by a project about the Hollywood Golden Age actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr.
Finally, Gal will portray Irena Sendler, a World War II-era Polish nurse and resistance fighter. Even with the possibility of the three movies running into delays or possibly not moving past the development phase, Gal deserves to be lauded for varying the kind of roles she’s hoping to take on in the future.
Gal and Jaron Focus on Their Own Films
After a lot of build-up, Wonder Woman 3's fate has been sealed. Unfortunately, it doesn't look good. Wonder Woman 3 will no longer be moving forward as initially planned.
But that only opens the doors for Gal Gadot and her husband to work more intensely on their own projects!
“To me, starting and developing stories that I’m passionate about is an incredible thing. The fact that I don’t have to sit still at home and just wait for the next offer is something that makes me feel empowered. I enjoy doing it, it keeps me alive.”
Gadot told Total Film.
Whatever comes their way, the two are more than capable of handling. It’s still worthy noting that prior to the first movie in the series, Gal, who enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces as a combat fitness instructor at the age of 20 as part of her mandatory two years of military service, received swordsmanship, kickboxing, capoeira, jiu-jitsu and Kung Fu training for her role as the Amazon princess.
Gal Gadot and Jaron Varsano's Beautiful Relationship
At this point in their lives, Gal Gadot and Jaron Varsano appear to have the strongest of support systems in place for each other. And though they both seem to be extraordinarily busy with work—she with her non-stop acting career and he with financial dealings and running their production company—the two are all about each other and their little ones.
Gal made a point of announcing her feelings for her husband to the world this past Valentine’s Day with a heartfelt announcement on social media.
“I love you @JaronVarsano,” she proclaimed on Twitter. “You’re my one. My only. My Everything.”
For his part, proud husband Jaron similarly recognized his wife’s remarkable accomplishments via an Instagram post on International Women’s Day.
"I'm so lucky to be married to a strong independent woman," read his post. "I learn from her on a daily basis, she empowers me and helps me become a better version of myself."
As Wonder Woman quotes, "Bonds of love never make the wearer weaker — they give him greater strength!"
The love and respect these two feel for each other is a wonder. And wonderful!

Military Dad of 4 Daughters Defends His Girls When Strangers Make This Rude Remark
Austin von Letkemann is the military officer strangers feel "sorry" for — and the reason is infuriating.
Whenever the devoted father leaves the house with his four children, strangers can't help but notice the officer in uniform is holding hands with 4 adorable little girls. They will tell the traditionally "masculine" and "all American" dad they feel sorry for him, because he has no sons. This dad makes one thing very clear: They are his daughters, they aren't a burden.
In a passionate video, von Letkemann took to Instagram to share with his followers that the only thing that's "difficult" about being a girl dad — is clapping back to these sexist remarks over and over again.
They Mock His Daughters To Their Face
When strangers approach Austin von Letkemann and his four daughters, they don't always realize that their comments are being overheard. They seem oblivious to the fact that his girls understand every word. Von Letkemann describes how people will approach him and, without thinking, make remarks like "I'm sorry" or even joke about his lack of sons. What they don't realize is that these comments, intended to be light-hearted or humorous, can be deeply hurtful to his daughters. These strangers are not just disrespecting von Letkemann's choices as a father; they're also sending a message to his daughters that their presence is something to be pitied. It’s a message that von Letkemann won't stand for, and he's speaking out to defend his girls from these insensitive remarksSaying "Get Your Shotgun" Isn't Funny — It's Sexist
Another common comment that Austin von Letkemann encounters is the old "better get your shotgun ready" trope, often delivered with a smirk or a wink. This line is typically intended to suggest that a father with daughters should be on high alert to protect them from potential "suitors," implying that they are objects to be guarded rather than individuals with agency.
Von Letkemann finds this line of thinking outdated and sexist. In his viral Instagram video, he points out that these jokes are not just stale — they're damaging.
By suggesting that his daughters require armed protection, the joke reinforces the idea that women are inherently vulnerable and need to be shielded from men. Von Letkemann argues that instead of promoting this narrative, society should focus on teaching respect and consent, challenging these sexist tropes at their source.

"If I Had A Fifth Child, I'd HOPE It Was A Girl" — One Dad's Message For Other Parents
Despite the constant remarks about his lack of sons, Austin von Letkemann is clear: He wouldn't trade his daughters for anything.
In fact, he told his Instagram followers that if he were to have a fifth child, he would hope for another girl. This declaration isn't just about doubling down on his pride in his family — it's a pointed response to those who see fathering daughters as a misfortune.
Von Letkemann's stance is a powerful one, rejecting the notion that a family is incomplete without sons. He encourages others to question the assumptions behind these comments and to appreciate the joy and fulfillment that his daughters bring. By sharing his story, von Letkemann hopes to create a more inclusive perspective on fatherhood, one that values daughters just as much as sons.
