22 The Lion King Quotes Filled With Powerful Life Lessons

Probably

one of the most epic animated movies made by Disney, The Lion King was released

in 1994 and was the first Disney animated feature to be an original story.

The

movie tells the story of Simba, a lion cub who is to succeed his father,

Mufasa, as King of the Pride Lands. After the killing of his father by his

paternal uncle, the young lion has to undergo a lot of challenges in the search

for his destiny as king and in understanding the ’Great Circle of Life’, which

connects all living things.

The

best thing about animated movies is that you can enjoy them no matter how old

you are. The difference is that, as a child, you love the story and that

fantasy world as it is presented; When you get older, you begin to understand

that the fantasy world is a reflection of the one you live in.

Above

all, The Lion King teaches us that we can overcome any challenge life throws

our way, if we don’t let worries overwhelm us. Another valuable lesson offered

by the movie, is that power can be blinding.
