Chrissy Teigen Celebrates John Legend's EGOT, Her Love and Support Will Make You Cry

Throughout all of history, only 12 people ever have achieved EGOT status -- having won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and a Tony award -- but this week, history happened.

John Legend became lucky number 13, and that’s not all -- he’s also the first black man ever to achieve this honor, and the youngest recipient in history!

While this is a huge deal by any stretch of the imagination we are also blown away by the always amazing Chrissy Teigen. Teigen, always our favorite person to follow on social media, shared a photo, writing simply “EGOT GOATS.” (That’s greatest of all time, btw).

But Teigen was not done celebrating. Next, she shared a photo kissing her lucky guy, writing, “my incredible man. what a surreal life.”

But, you guys, it gets even sweeter. There was another share! The next one, Teigen shared a video when John Legend got home at the end of the momentous night and placed the award alongside his others.

In a beautiful moment, he looks up at it in awe, as Teigen whispers, “Perfect.”

"We inspire each other,” Legend, 39, told reporters of his marriage to Teigen, 32, after accepting the award. “She inspires my songs, she inspires me to want to be a better husband and a better father. We support each other fully in everything that we do. I root for her in her career and everything she’s doing. And I expect that she’ll be up here winning Emmys herself for all the awesome work that she does.”

Chrissy and John can always be counted on to add some humor and realism to their outerwordly life, such as when the EGOT winner made "EGOT pancakes" for his wife at the end of the evening.

We love you, Chrissy and John! But we extra love how much you love each other.
